How this server list is built
The table above ranks public Counter-Strike 1.6 servers by the number of human players on them right now. Bots are not counted toward that ranking, so a server full of bots does not look busy. Password-protected servers, duplicate listings and servers whose player counts are padded with fake traffic are left out, and server names are filtered for spam before they are shown. The in-game server browser at the top of this page lists every server we can see, not just the busiest.
Joining a server
- Press Play next to any server in the table, or open the server browser and pick one by map, mode or region.
- The first load caches the game; after that the map streams in and you spawn within seconds.
- Servers that require a Steam login accept players through the free desktop client, which uses your own Steam client on the same PC.
Servers by map
Every popular map has its own page listing the servers that run it, live and recently seen: de_dust2 servers, de_inferno servers, de_nuke servers, cs_office servers and fy_iceworld servers. Game modes are covered too: zombie, surf, deathmatch and every other mode.
Run your own instead
