Zombie Mod is CS 1.6's most beloved custom mode. A few players spawn as zombies and hunt the humans; every human killed turns into a zombie. Survivors barricade doorways with movable props, stack in defensible spots, and try to outlast the timer. zm_ survival maps and ze_ escape maps each play completely differently.

How Zombie Mod works

Humans buy weapons and weld or block chokepoints to hold off the horde; zombies use speed and knockback-resistant health to break the line. Survive to the end of the round as a human, or infect everyone as a zombie. Every Combat Skirmish server runs in your browser via WebAssembly — no download, no install, no account.
