This is the same crosshair editor that is built into the game, running on its own page. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is installed — the preview is drawn in your browser as you drag, over a split light/dark background so you can see how the colour and opacity hold up against a bright wall and a dark corner at the same time.

Everything the in-game editor exposes is here, in five groups. Shape covers length, thickness, gap, inner padding, a centre dot and a T-style crosshair with the top line removed. Colour covers the colour itself, opacity and additive blending, which brightens the crosshair against dark backgrounds instead of letting it disappear into them. Dynamics decides whether the crosshair opens up while you move, while you fire, or follows the actual recoil. Outline adds a dark border that keeps a light crosshair readable on snow or sand. Split lines is the advanced group, for secondary lines at their own distance and opacity.

The defaults match the game's: a green crosshair at length 5, thickness 2 and gap 2, with expand-while-moving on. Reset to default puts you back there at any point, and the settings you leave behind are remembered on this device so the page opens where you left it.

When you are happy with it, copy the share code. Press Play, open the crosshair editor in the settings menu, and paste it into the import box. If you already have a crosshair you like in CS:GO or CS2, paste its code into the import box on this page instead: the decoder ignores the prefix on a code and reads only the payload, so a CSGO- code imports here unchanged. The code carries the shape, colour and behaviour settings but not quite all ten switches — the FAQ below says exactly which three it leaves behind and what they revert to.

A crosshair is worth about five minutes of your time and no more — where you point it matters far more than what it looks like. Questions

How do I get this crosshair into the game?

Copy the share code under the preview. Press Play, open the settings menu, go to the crosshair editor and paste the code into the import box. The game decodes the code itself — nothing is typed into a console and nothing is downloaded.

Does the share code carry every setting?

Almost, and it is worth knowing the exception. The code uses the CS:GO format, which covers length, thickness, gap, inner padding, colour, opacity, the outline and its thickness, the centre dot, T-style, follow-recoil, expand-while-firing, the weapon-based gap and the split-line settings. Three switches have no place in that format and are set for you when a code is imported: show crosshair and expand while moving both come back on, and additive blend follows whatever apply-opacity is set to. If you want those three a particular way, set them in the game's own crosshair editor after importing — they are the same switches in the same panel.

Can I import a CS:GO or CS2 crosshair code?

Yes. Paste it into the import box on this page. The decoder skips whatever prefix a code carries and reads only the five groups of characters after it, so a code copied out of CS:GO or CS2 is read exactly the same way as one generated here. Codes made here are tagged CBSM- and import back into either game just as happily.

Do I need an account, a download or a plugin?

No. The editor is a page — it runs entirely in your browser, works offline once loaded, and stores your settings on your own device rather than on a server. There is nothing to sign up for.

What is the difference between the gap and the inner padding?

The gap is the empty space between the centre of the crosshair and where each line starts, and it is the setting most people mean when they say their crosshair is too tight or too open. Inner padding adds space on top of that. Turning on the weapon-based gap hands the decision to the game instead, so the crosshair widens for a less accurate weapon and closes for a precise one.

Why does my crosshair look bigger in game than in the preview?

Because of the Dynamics group. With expand-while-moving on — which is the default — the crosshair opens up whenever you are running or jumping and settles again when you stop. Expand-while-firing does the same thing under recoil. The preview draws the crosshair at rest, which is the state you are aiming from anyway. Turn both off if you want a crosshair that never moves.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The controls stack into a single column on a narrow screen and the preview stays visible while you drag. The game itself runs in a mobile browser too, so you can build a crosshair and go straight into a match on the same device.
